The Life of Mary Rothe

I've had quite the interesting life. I have been into horses for as long as I can remember. I grew up riding my Uncle's belgian draft horses and that's where it all started. I have been showing horses for a long time and I would want to do anything else. It is hard, it is strenuous, it makes me want to cry sometimes; but then I look back and think of everyone and everything that has helped me get to this point. I went to M&S National Finals in 2013 and did well! 

 

My dad passed away on August 19, 2006. I was 7 years old. He was and still is, my best friend & greatest inspiration. He was a big game hunter and was in Africa often. I grew up knowing how to shoot anything and do what is necessary to survive. When I was 6, I spent a little while in South Africa. It was absolutely an amazing experience & I still remember it. My life has been a bit "abnormal" but I wouldn't change it for the world. I am in hopes of writing a book soon (about my life).
